Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 18, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to services and products provided by A. E. Pray Holdings LLC, doing business as Daybreak Systems (“Daybreak Systems,” “Daybreak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting service, approving an estimate or quote, authorizing work, purchasing products, or otherwise engaging Daybreak Systems, you agree to the applicable Terms below.
1. Services
Daybreak Systems provides mobile window treatment services, which may include diagnosis, repair, maintenance, removal and reinstallation, measuring, sales, replacement, installation, motorized window treatment services, window film and tinting, and related services.
Service availability depends on factors including product type, age, condition, manufacturer, accessibility, parts availability, and whether the requested work can be performed safely and reliably.
Daybreak Systems reserves the right to decline work that we determine is unsafe, impractical, unreliable, outside our capabilities, or otherwise inappropriate to perform.
2. Service Calls and Diagnosis
A service appointment does not guarantee that a repair will be completed during the initial visit.
Diagnosis may require removal, disassembly, adjustment, testing, or inspection of a window treatment or its components. Additional parts, labor, research, off-site work, manufacturer assistance, or return visits may be necessary.
Service and diagnostic charges compensate Daybreak Systems for the time, travel, inspection, diagnosis, and/or work provided and are not dependent upon a successful repair unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
3. Estimates, Quotes and Authorization
Estimates and quotes are based on information reasonably available at the time they are prepared.
Additional conditions may become apparent after a product is removed, disassembled, tested, or otherwise examined.
If additional chargeable work is required beyond the agreed scope, Daybreak Systems will seek customer authorization before proceeding with that additional work.
Pricing, deposits, payment schedules, and other terms stated on an individual quote, estimate, invoice, or written agreement apply to that transaction.
4. Existing and Aging Window Treatments
Window treatments contain components that wear and deteriorate over time. Repairing or replacing one component does not restore the entire window treatment to new condition or guarantee against future failure of another component.
Daybreak Systems is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, normal wear or deterioration, concealed defects, previous improper repairs or installations, or failures unrelated to the work we performed.
Removal, disassembly, adjustment, testing, and repair can place stress on aging, brittle, damaged, or deteriorated components. Daybreak Systems will exercise reasonable care but cannot guarantee that such components will remain intact during otherwise reasonable diagnostic or repair procedures.
If continuing a repair becomes impractical or presents an unreasonable risk of further damage, Daybreak Systems may stop work and discuss available options with the customer.
5. Replacement Parts
Replacement parts for older window treatments may be discontinued, redesigned, unavailable, or difficult to identify.
Daybreak Systems does not guarantee that a suitable replacement component can be obtained.
Depending on availability and customer needs, repairs may use new, compatible, aftermarket, refurbished, salvaged, used, or discontinued components. Where material to the repair, the nature of the replacement component will be communicated to the customer.
6. Salvaged, Used and Refurbished Parts
Daybreak Systems may maintain recovered components from previously manufactured window treatments. These components can make repairs possible when new replacement parts are unavailable or uneconomical.
Used, salvaged, refurbished, or discontinued components may show cosmetic wear and may have an unknown service history.
Such components may carry limited or no warranty unless otherwise stated.
7. New and Custom Products
New window treatments and related products may be manufactured or ordered according to customer-approved specifications.
Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable selections, including product type, dimensions, materials, colors, operating systems, controls, and other specifications before an order is finalized.
Custom and special-order products may become noncancelable or nonrefundable once manufacturing or supplier processing begins, subject to applicable law and the terms disclosed for the individual transaction.
Quoted manufacturing, shipping, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Daybreak Systems is not responsible for reasonable delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, carriers, product shortages, or other circumstances outside our control.
8. Installation
Customers must provide reasonable and safe access to windows and work areas.
Installation may require drilling, fastening, or mounting into window frames, trim, walls, ceilings, or other appropriate surfaces.
Conditions concealed behind finished surfaces—including electrical wiring, plumbing, structural deficiencies, hidden damage, unsuitable mounting materials, or previous modifications—may not be detectable before work begins.
Unexpected conditions may require additional work, alternative installation methods, another qualified trade, or a revised scope and price.
9. Customer-Supplied Products and Parts
Daybreak Systems may agree to install, diagnose, or repair products or components supplied by a customer.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Daybreak Systems does not warrant customer-supplied products and is not responsible for their measurements, compatibility, quality, completeness, manufacturing defects, durability, missing components, or performance.
Additional charges may apply if customer-supplied products require unexpected assembly, modification, troubleshooting, hardware, or additional labor.
10. Motorized Window Treatments
Motorized window treatments may use manufacturer-specific motors, controls, electronics, software, communication protocols, batteries, accessories, and proprietary components.
Diagnosis or repair may therefore be limited by manufacturer support, discontinued components, unavailable documentation, proprietary systems, or product compatibility.
Daybreak Systems does not guarantee that an existing motorized product can be repaired, upgraded, converted, or integrated with another control or smart-home system.
11. Window Film and Tinting
Window film results depend on the film, glass, existing coatings, window construction, installation conditions, and environment.
Temporary moisture, haze, or other visual effects may occur while newly installed film cures.
Daybreak Systems may decline a film installation when the proposed application appears incompatible with the glass or otherwise unsuitable.
Specific performance claims, specifications, expected curing periods, and manufacturer warranties are governed by the applicable product documentation.
12. Workmanship and Warranties
Daybreak Systems stands behind its workmanship. Customers should promptly contact us if they believe a problem resulted from work performed by Daybreak Systems so that we can evaluate the issue and, when appropriate, correct our work.
New products and components may carry manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranty coverage is governed by the manufacturer’s terms, exclusions, procedures, and continued support of the product.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage does not extend to normal wear, misuse, accidents, improper operation, pre-existing conditions, unrelated component failures, environmental or building-related conditions, damage caused by third parties, unauthorized modifications or repairs, or components specifically sold without warranty.
Used, salvaged, refurbished, discontinued, and customer-supplied components may have limited or no warranty coverage.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
13. Scheduling and Return Visits
Appointments may be scheduled using arrival windows rather than exact arrival times.
Daybreak Systems will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays or scheduling changes.
Return visits may be necessary when parts must be ordered, additional diagnosis is required, products require off-site service, or work cannot reasonably be completed during the initial appointment.
Applicable charges for additional or return service will be communicated to the customer.
14. Cancellations and Access
Customers should provide reasonable notice when an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled.
Any cancellation, missed-appointment, or similar fee will apply only when communicated to the customer as part of the applicable service arrangement and permitted by law.
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property, windows, products, and work areas necessary to perform the scheduled service.
15. Products Removed for Service
Daybreak Systems may remove window treatments or components from a customer’s property when off-site diagnosis, repair, modification, or other service is appropriate.
Reasonable care will be exercised while customer property is in our possession.
Customers are responsible for responding to communications concerning authorization, completion, return, or collection of their property.
16. Payment and Sales Tax
Payment is due according to the terms stated on the applicable quote, estimate, invoice, contract, or other transaction document.
Deposits or advance payments may be required for custom products, special orders, substantial materials purchases, or larger projects.
Applicable sales tax will be charged and collected where required by law.
17. Photographs and Service Documentation
Daybreak Systems may photograph window treatments, components, product labels, installation conditions, damage, measurements, and completed work when reasonably necessary for diagnosis, estimating, documentation, warranty evaluation, training, parts identification, or recordkeeping.
Customer-identifying photographs or recognizable private living spaces will not be intentionally used for public advertising or promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
Our handling of personal information is further described in our Privacy Policy.
18. Safety
Daybreak Systems may refuse, suspend, or discontinue work when conditions present an unreasonable safety risk or when an installation or repair would create or perpetuate an unacceptable safety condition.
This includes considerations relating to accessibility, structural conditions, electrical hazards, unsafe products, and applicable window-covering safety requirements.
19. Scope of Work
Daybreak Systems provides window treatment and related services. Unless expressly included in the agreed scope, our services do not include structural repairs, electrical contracting, glass or window replacement, painting, drywall repair, or work requiring another specialized trade.
Discovery of a condition outside our scope may require work to stop until the condition is addressed by an appropriate party.
20. Damage and Responsibility
Daybreak Systems will exercise reasonable care while performing services.
Daybreak Systems is not responsible for damage or failure resulting from pre-existing defects, deteriorated materials, concealed conditions, manufacturer defects, normal wear, improper prior installation or repair, customer-supplied products, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21. Website Information
Information provided on the Daybreak Systems website is intended for general informational purposes and does not constitute a diagnosis, guarantee, quote, or agreement to perform work.
Submitting a service request does not confirm an appointment or guarantee that Daybreak Systems will accept the requested work.
22. Privacy
Information provided to Daybreak Systems is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
23. Applicable Law
These Terms and services provided by Daybreak Systems are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict consumer rights provided by applicable law.
24. Changes to These Terms
Daybreak Systems may update these general Terms & Conditions as its services, policies, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be posted on daybreak.systems/terms with its effective date.
Terms incorporated into a particular signed or approved agreement remain subject to the terms applicable to that transaction.
